Dual Enrollment - for students who plan to get a 4-year, bachelor's degree
High school students who meet academic requirements can take Dual Enrollment classes to begin the general education core requirements for a bachelor's degree.  These courses can include College Composition, Literature, General Biology, Humanities, Chemistry, U. S. Government, U.S. History, World History, Calculus, Precalculus, Statistics, and many more.  Please contact your high school for a specific list of transfer courses available through dual enrollment.

All public four-year colleges and universities in Virginia, and most senior institutions around the United States, have agreed to accept Dual Enrollment credits in general education.

Students who plan to attend a four-year college or university not listed can contact SVCC's Transfer Counselors Dorothea Sizemore at 434.736.2051 at the John H. Daniel Campus of SVCC or Judy Shepherd at 434.949.1049 on the Christanna Campus of SVCC.
