• INCOME TAX SCHOOL
 SVCC has partnered with the "Income Tax School" to offer online non-credit courses to meet the new IRS certification requirement for tax preparers. (Oversight of Federal Tax Return Preparation) The IRS has recently decided to regulate tax preparers, which will create increased market share for educated tax preparers! Starting September 2010, all tax preparers must register with the IRS. Then starting in 2011, all tax preparers must pass an IRS basic competency test; and will be required to complete 15 hours of continuing professional education each year.
