Cyber Teacher Recertification Courses for Summer 2009

Southside Virginia Community College (SVCC), in conjunction with the Southside Educational Technology Consortium (SETC), will offer several college courses for educators. The objectives for these courses will emphasize computer skills development in the content area of teaching, elements of effective lesson plan design, a rich variety of lesson plan websites, technology-rich lessons, and assessments.

Teachers who enroll in these courses will earn recertification points and/or credits. Check with your school division concerning provision of points. Financial assistance may also be provided by local divisions upon request.

Each of these courses will be delivered online. Assignments are due every two weeks unless otherwise noted. You must have access to a computer with an Internet connection and a valid email address.
