Students Graduate From High School And SVCC
 Dr Paula Gastenveld, Dean of Instruction at Southside Virginia Community College congratulates John Patrick Brandt, Valedictorian at the Cumberland High School Commencement ceremony.
Brandt is one of 16 High School graduates who walked away with a High School diploma and an associate’s degree in General Studies as part of SVCC’s Dual Enrollment program.
Others honored with an associate degree include, John Hubert Allen, Alan Jackson Bishop, Ayla Renee Coffee, John Dallas Dandridge, Heather Marie Fowler, Ashley Nicole Frayser, Jessica Renee Frayser, Sarah Louise Heath, MoNai Ashanti Holman, Stacey Lee Marshall, Sierra Jane McKay, Jacob Samuel Mullins, Jessica Denise Mullins, Samuel Jordon Spicer and Madeline Wilson Sullivan.
