GED Graduates
Southside Virginia Community College’s Adult Education Program held a commencement ceremony for those who completed the GED® within the last year on the Christanna Campus in Alberta on May 26, 2011.
Those attending and receiving their GED® from Brunswick County are (Left to Right above) Korey Macklin, Kaycee Evans, Victoria Goss, Turquoise Osborn and Wilson Dukes. Also, Goss was an Honor Graduate.
Those receiving their diploma from Mecklenburg County are (Left to Right, above) Samantha Gray, Scott Farmer, La’Tasha Hester, Antwane Hester, Carrie Middlteon, Jesse Boykin, Hannah Boyd, Steven Sharber, Laura Harris, Troy Boyd, Linda Smith, Brandon Shaw, Shirley Six-Logan, Britany Reed. Honor Grads are Scott Farmer and Carrie Middleton.
Graduates from Lunenburg County are (Left to Right, above) Floyd Tester and Edwin Hayes. Both gentlemen are Honor gradutates.
Students from Nottoway County who attended the ceremony to receive their diplomas are (Left to Right, above) Tracey Meritte, Courtney Jefferson, Alexander Hurt and Joseph Hammonds. Hammonds is an Honor Graduate.
