New Diesel Tech Instructor - Billy McGraw
 With a new year at Southside Virginia Community College, new faces abound also. Billy McGraw actually joined the SVCC Family in January 2011 as Diesel Technician Program Instructor. He is looking forward to working with the Staff and producing very good Diesel/Automotive Technicians to place in the workforce.
A graduate of Nottoway High School in 1986, he joined the Military and has 23 years of service with the VaARNG and his current Duty Position is with the 276 Horizontal Company in Powhatan as the 1SG.
“My experience in the Maintenance Field stems from more than 22 years of service with the Federal Government (MATES), working on Heavy Equipment, Road Tractors, Tanks etc, maintaining and/or rebuilding engines drive trains, fuel systems, and electronics,” McGraw said.
He was presented with artwork designed by Dr. John J. Cavan, SVCC President, which depicts the college logo and colors.
