"Prep Sessions" offered for Potential Practical Nursing Students

The new pre-entrance test for Practical Nursing Students will be given beginning in mid-February. It is called the TEAS-V or Test of Essential Academic Skills- Version 5. In anticipation of this new test, five “prep sessions” are being offered.

We will cover how to register and pay for the TEAS-V, an overview of what is included on the test, tips on how to prepare for it, and where to find resources to help you with the skills needed for this test.

The dates, times, and locations for the PREP-SESSIONS are:

• Tuesday, Feb. 1 at the Daniel Campus in Keysville, Room 21, from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.
• Wednesday, Feb. 2 at the Southern Va. Higher Ed. Center in South Boston, Room: Anthem B, from 3:00pm – 4:30 pm.
• Thursday, Feb. 3 at the Christanna Campus in Alberta, Room B45, from 10:00am – 11:30am.
• Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the Estes Center in Chase City, Computer Lab, from 1:00pm – 2:30 pm.
• Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Southside Va. Education Center in Emporia, Room 149, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
