Professional Development  Day to be held at SVCC in Keysville

Southside Virginia Community College is sponsoring a Professional Development Day in the Keysville Campus’s Workforce Development Center on Tueseday, April 19, 2011 beginning at 1 p.m.  the guest speaker is Mark Joseph, an inspirational speaker who was part of the inaugural class of "Call Me MISTER" and has appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show".   

The Job Fair portion of the day begins at 2 p.m. and continues until 5:00 p.m.
This is a great opportunity for our students and the general public to find out what is out there in terms of jobs and careers for the future. 

The event is open to everyone.  Businesses that will be on site include Centra, Lunenburg Correctional Center, Trinity Mission of Farmv ille, Piedmont Geriatric Hospital, ICA- Farmville, AGLA, Awesome Party Supplies, CareMed Inc. and Atwork Personnel.  For more information, contact Matt Dunn at 434-736-2020.
