Women’s Self-Defense Training

Would you like to learn ways to protect yourself and safety awareness tips?  Lake Country Advanced Knowledge Center-SVCC has partnered with the South Hill Police Department to offer a free self-defense class to women in our area.

self defenseThis Self-Defense Class will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with instructor Sergeant Shane Johnson.

The topics include Safety Awareness, Self-Defense Techniques, Ground Fighting Techniques and Pressure Points Techniques.

Due to the physical nature of this class, students need to wear athletic/sweat suit attire.

Learn ways to protect yourself as well as safety tips from local police department personnel.  This class has a limited number of openings so hurry and sign up now.
