Girl Scout "Cookie Jam"
Southside Virginia Community College hosted a Cookie Jam on Saturday, Februrary 4th, in the John J. Cavan Workforce Development Center. Hundreds of girls from Girl Scout Troops across the Commonwealth Council participated in games, challenges and learning activities to the beat of a live D.J.
The mission of the Girl Scouts organization is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
According to Kira Patton, a Daisy from Troop 474, the best part of this year's Cookie Jam was the free cookies!
