EMT Program Wins Accreditation

The Emergency Medical Technology Program at Southside Virginia Community College is the only accredited program offered within 70 miles.  Recently awarded accreditation from July 2012 to July 2017 from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health EMT teamand Education Programs, the SVCC program is judged in compliance with nationally established standards.

The SVCC program offers certificates in Emergency Medical Technology, Emergency Medical Technology-Intermediate and EMT-Paramedic along with the Associate of Science degree in Emergency Medical Technology.
