Free Computer Course

Southside Virginia Community College is offering free tuition for basic computer classes through the Tek-Xam program. Tek-Xam tuition is free for residents of the counties/cities of computerBrunswick, Mecklenburg, Buckingham, Charlotte, Greensville, Emporia, Lunenburg, Nottoway, Prince Edward and Amelia.

The course will meet in early November for two nights a week over three weeks. It will cover general computing, word processing concepts, internet concepts and spreadsheet concepts.

There is a $25 required fee for the textbook. If paying by check, please make check payable to Tek-Xam. Participants must pre-register!
