'Leadership Solutions' Offered

Southside Virginia Community College is offering Leadership Solutions, a training program to assist area business and industry in developing the best leaders in their business.  The program, sponsored by Valley Proteins, Inc., SVCC, and The Virginia Foundation for Community College Education, will be offered on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. until noon at the Southside Virginia Higher Education Center in Emporia beginning October 21, 2009.  Scholarships are available on a first come, first served basis. 

This program is designed for newly designated supervisors and managers to learn mid-level supervisory skills.  Pamela N. Taylor is the instructor.  She has 17 years of adult education experience in the area of management at businesses such as Dollar General’s Distribution Center, GAP, Inc., and International Paper, Inc.
