Staff/Faculty Recognized For Service
This group of Southside Virginia Community College employees recently received their Commonwealth of Virginia Service Awards for continuous and loyal service to the state for the past five years.

They are (Seated Left to Right) Sabrina Williams of Alberta, Kelley Barnes of South Hill, Shana Cisco of Saxe, and Back Row, L to R) Jeremy Perkins, Tom Scales of Ridgeway, Vincent Brown of Brodnax, Dwayne Tharpe of Chase City, and Arnold Gayles of Charlotte. Other receiving five year service awards are John Garner, LeTina Gile s, Woodson Irby.
Southside Virginia Community College employees who recently received their Commonwealth of Virginia recognition for continuous and loyal service to the state for ten years are Virginia Williams (Left) of Warfield and Patricia Seamster of Lunenburg Court House. Others receiving the ten year certificate who are not pictured are Robert Tolbert and Mary Worrell.
Lydia Chappell-Ramsey recently received her Commonwealth of Virginia 15 Year Service Award. She works in the Information Technology Department of the John H. Daniel Campus of Southside Virginia Community College. Also receiving the 15 year award (not pictured) are Dorothea Sizemore and Wayne Talbert.

Hales of Lawrenceville, Debra Smiley of South Hill, and Robbie Washburn of Meredithville and (Back Row, L to R) Robert Blackwell of Charlotte and Edward Chernault of Buckingham. Karl Hutchings received the award also.
Roger Wray of Emporia recently received his Commonwealth of Virginia Service Award for continuous and loyal service to the sta te for the past 20years.
Janice Phillips of Lawrenceville received her Commonwealth of Virginia Service Award for continuous and loyal service to the state for the past25 years. She works at Southside VirginiaCommunity College.
Jack Ancell of Alberta received his Commonwealth of Virginia Service Award for continuous and loyal service to the state for the past 30 years. He works at Southside Virginia Community College. 
Anne Gayle Cheely of Warfield received her Commonwealth of Virginia Service Award for continuous and loyal service to the state for the past 35 years. Sge works at Southside Virginia Community College.
