Finish Line
Finish Line is a community outreach project that partners New College Institute with Southside Virginia Community College, Patrick Henry Community College and Danville Community College to identify and contact individuals who are within 18 credits of completing an associate’s degree and counsel them toward completing their degrees. As part of a grant New College Institute submitted to the Tobacco Commission, the Finish Line project received funding for a two year period. Students will receive personal guidance and assistance for re-entry into the community college system.
The Finish Line Project:
- Helps with reapplying for admission
- Offers you information about financial assistance and supportive services
- Provides academic advising
- Helps you complete the graduation process
Start the process:
- Contact Erica Andrews via phone or email to complete intake process
- Complete SVCC admission application if your application status is inactive
- Choose a program
- Complete FAFSA
- Register for classes
- Complete your class and prepare for GRADUATION!
